Five-Year Strategic Plan for Housing and Community Development
IHFA and the Idaho Department of Commerce produce a Five-Year Strategic Plan for Housing and Community Development on behalf of the State of Idaho and its non-entitlement communities. Used to identify needs and allocate funding for Idaho communities, it provides a description of housing and community development issues within the context of Idaho's economy, employment, wage and consumer issues. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development approved the most recent Five-Year Plan in May 2005.

State of Idaho Public Participation Plan
The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) and the Idaho Department of Commerce (IDC) in compliance with the State of Idaho 2005 Five-Year Strategic Plan for Housing and Community Development, plan to submit the 2008 Annual Action Plan to HUD on February 15, 2008 following a 30-day public comment period beginning Friday, January 11, 2008 and ending Monday, February 11, 2008. The draft document is available for downloading as an Adobe Acrobat file via the link below. The 2008 Annual Action Plan summarizes the actions and initiatives planned by IHFA and IDC during the 2008 Program Year (April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009) to fulfill housing and community development strategies and actions outlined in the 2005 Five-Year Strategic Plan for Housing and Community Development. The Public Participation Plan (also linked below) outlines the requirements and mechanisms in place to acquire and incorporate public comments on the prioritization of housing and community development needs throughout the state, and the allocation of federal funds to address those needs. Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER)
The Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA) and the Idaho Department of Commerce (IDC), in compliance with the State of Idaho 2005 Five-Year Strategic Plan for Housing and Community Development, submit this report each year to HUD on June 30. The report summarizes the actions and initiatives implemented by IHFA and IDC during the previous Program Year (April 1 to March 30) to fulfill housing and community development strategies and actions. Public comments are welcome and encouraged.
