NOTICE: Effective October 8, 2009, Idaho Housing and Finance Association has re-opened the HOME Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance program for a limited time. See below for details.
- Qualified borrowers will receive a 5.98% interest rate on the first mortgage
- There is a no interest, due on sale HOME loan for up to $20,000 based on the borrower’s income level and need
- Through the HOME fund application process, it will be determined if the borrower meets the program guidelines and is within 80% of area median income and that the borrower is a first-time homebuyer
- A borrower's loan must be closed and delivered to IHFA by March 31, 2010
