IHFA Garners Four Idaho Press Club Awards
BOISE – The Idaho Housing and Finance
Association has received multiple Idaho Press Club awards for the
fourth consecutive year, IHFA officials announced.
IHFA competed in the Public Relations category with
other Idaho companies and agencies, winning 2nd place in the Media Kit
subcategory for the "Turnberry Dedication;" 2nd place in the
Annual Report subcategory for the "1998 IHFA Annual Report;"
3rd place in Script Writing for the "Section 8 Renter
Orientation" video; and 3rd place in Special Purpose Publication
for the "1998 IHFA Year at a Glance."
"We’re very proud of our Communications
Department and the quality work they do," said Gerald Hunter,
IHFA president and executive director. "Their expertise allows us
to promote the many affordable housing products and services we offer
to lower-income Idaho families."
This year’s Idaho Press Club Awards received a
record 932 total entries. Las Vegas-based R&R Advertising judged
entries in the Public Relations category based on reader/viewer
interest, originality, technical/writing excellence, fitting category
criteria, impact of story lead and writing style. Other categories of
competition included Daily and Weekly Newspaper, Magazine, Television,
Radio, Student and Arts in Idaho.
The Idaho Press Club’s membership includes media and
communication professionals around the state.
