Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education, Inc. Join Mayor in Launching Nampa Program Tuesday (May 23)

NAMPA - The Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education, Inc. will introduce Finally Home!, a home buyer education program, on Tuesday (May 23) at 12 noon at the Sandstone Event Center, 404 12th Avenue South in Nampa.

The following individuals are scheduled to speak at the event:

  • Mayor Maxine Horn, City of Nampa

  • Mark Dunham, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education, Inc.

  • Dan Stevens, President of the Board of Directors, Nampa Neighborhood Housing Services

Speakers will address how home buyer education not only makes for successful home owners, but, in turn, leads to lower mortgage default rates and healthier neighborhoods.

Nampa Neighborhood Housing Services holds monthly classes in Nampa (some in Spanish) that address the following topics:

  • How to qualify for a mortgage with bad credit or no credit;

  • How much cash to have on hand for closing;

  • How to choose a Realtor®;

  • How to make an offer;

  • How to access affordable mortgage programs.

The Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. They manage and implement the program’s four objectives: to develop programs of quality standardized home buying and home ownership education; to facilitate wide delivery of its home buying and home owner educational programs throughout Idaho; to target its educational programs to reach diversified markets, including various socioeconomic groups—specifically low and moderate-income households and first-time home buyers; and to enhance the lives of citizens throughout Idaho, as well as participating communities, by providing better home buying and home ownership education.
