IHFA Garners Four Idaho Press Club Awards
BOISE - The Idaho Housing and Finance
Association has received multiple Idaho Press Club Awards for the
fifth consecutive year, IHFA officials announced.
IHFA’s Communications Department competed in the
Public Relations category with other Idaho companies and agencies:
-
1st place in the Nonprofit Campaign subcategory for the Finally
Home! home buyer education program;
-
2nd place in the Newsletter subcategory for the 1999
Cornerstones newsletters;
-
3rd place in Web Site General Excellence for www.ihfa.org;
and
-
3rd place in Script Writing for the "Family
Self-Sufficiency Program" video script.
This year’s Idaho Press Club Awards received a

Board, judged entries in the Public Relations division based on
reader/viewer interest, originality, technical/writing excellence,
fitting category criteria, impact of story lead and writing style. Web
sites were judged by Mark Giese with the University of Houston School
of Communications. Other divisions of competition included Daily and
Weekly Newspaper, Magazine, Television, Radio, Student and Arts in
Idaho.
