Public Hearing on the State’s Qualified Allocation
Plan December 10 in Boise
BOISE - A public hearing on additional
proposed changes to the 2002 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Qualified
Allocation Plan will be held December 10 (Monday), the Idaho Housing
and Finance Association announced today. The affordable housing
community and all developers building multifamily housing are
encouraged to attend. The hearing will begin at 9 a.m. at IHFA’s Boise office, 565 W. Myrtle St.
in the first floor conference room.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide
information regarding additional changes to the Qualified Allocation
Plan for the year 2002, which have occurred since the initial public
hearing on August 29, 2001. The public is invited to attend and make
written or oral comments concerning proposed changes to the Plan.
Copies of the Plan, including changes, are available by calling
208-331-4769. Those unable to attend the hearing may submit comments
in writing by Dec. 10 to: IHFA Multifamily Finance Department, PO
Box 7899, Boise, ID 83707-1899, by fax at (208) 331-4808 or by
e-mail to multifamily@ihfa.org.
Housing Tax Credits are available to owners of
qualified rental projects who are willing to designate at least 20
percent of the development’s units for low-income use. Credit is
allocated on a competitive basis in accordance with the State’s
approved Qualified Allocation Plan.
