North Idaho Residents Celebrate Finally Home!®
National Home Ownership Friday, June 14
BOISE -
The dream of home ownership will become a reality for three North
Idaho residents on Friday, June 14 at 10:30 a.m., as the three will receive
the keys to their new homes during a special celebration of
National Home Ownership Month. The ceremony will take place at the
new home of one of the recipients, in Coeur d’Alene. The three
new home owners—Charlene Dana, Pam Hill and Steve Listman, Jr.—will
be honored with each’s participating financial institution.
Dana graduated from Idaho Housing and Finance
Association’s Family Self-Sufficiency program and has an IHFA loan.
Hill has invested the necessary 250 hours of sweat equity into her new
home, through Habitat for Humanity of North Idaho. Listman, Jr.
secured his home loan through the U.S. Department of Agriculture-Rural
Development, and IHFA paid the closing costs. All three are Special
Needs participants, and all three are graduates of Idaho Housing and
Finance Association’s Finally Home! ® home buyer education
program.
