Home Loan Assistance and Newsroom Sign-Up Offered on IHFA Web Site

BOISE - The Idaho Housing and Finance Association has again made service to its customers-the people of Idaho-a priority, launching new mortgage loan assistance and newsroom pages on its Web site, www.ihfa.org.

The "Loan Assistance - Tell Me More" link on the home page provides customers with guidelines for acquiring an IHFA home loan, including a list of borrower requirements, income limits and sales price guidelines, which vary by county. In addition, the link also leads the user to a list of participating lenders that offer information on IHFA's below-market interest rates and Down Payment Assistance of up to $2,000.

The "Newsroom" at www.ihfa.org/newsroom.asp makes it easier and more convenient to get the latest IHFA news. Through the service, information about the association's interest rates, news releases, newsletters, and special publications about bringing affordable housing options to Idahoans can be delivered to a user's e-mail inbox or home.

Offering greater assistance to those wishing to obtain more information about an IHFA home loan, or the association's latest news are additional steps to improve customer service.

"IHFA's commitment to presenting and expanding home ownership opportunities throughout the state remains our top priority," said IHFA President and Executive Director Gerald Hunter. "This is another example of our vision to serve the needs of Idahoans."

Since 1978, IHFA has financed nearly 50,000 loans-worth nearly $3 billion-for affordable homes for Idaho's first-time and limited-income home buyers.

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association, a financial services and housing organization, provides funding for affordable housing in Idaho communities where they are most needed and when it is economically feasible. IHFA uses no state funds or state employees to support its operations. For more information, visit our Web site at www.ihfa.org.
