Registration Available Online for 2003 Idaho Governor's Conference on Housing
BOISE -
Registration is now available online for the 2003 Idaho Governor's Conference on Housing, scheduled for Oct. 6-8 in Boise. Interested persons can access the secure online registration site at www.2003govconf.org by clicking on the "Registration" link.
The conference brings together key housing industry groups and nearly 500 attendees. Over 20 planning partners work closely with the Idaho Housing and Finance Association to create a forum for dialogue and collaboration on the state's affordable housing issues, creating more than 20 workshops.
Workshop topics will fall into four main categories: banking and lending; building and developing; real estate ownership and sales; and public sector. A regional and national economic outlook will open the conference, and individual sessions will focus on minority lending, financial literacy, multifamily and single-family financing case studies, legislative forecasts, predatory lending, home buyer education, building codes, property tax, investor/developer relationships, affordable housing financing, and much more.
Highlights include key industry representatives and many visionary and insightful national keynote speakers. Confirmed speakers include political analyst and CNN "Crossfire" co-host Tucker Carlson, HUD Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing Michael Liu, national inspirational speaker Liz Murray (Homeless to Harvard, An Inspirational Journey), and an encore presentation by HGTV "Dream Builders" Host Scott Morgan.
