Governor's Conference on Housing Brings Experts, Opportunities to Boise Oct. 6-8
BOISE -
More than 500 housing experts and advocates will gather at the 2003 Idaho Governor's Conference on Housing, Oct. 6-8 in Boise. Persons interested in registering for the conference may still do so by accessing the secure online registration site at www.2003govconf.org and clicking on the "Registration" link, or by contacting IHFA at (208) 331-4858 to register by phone.
The conference, themed "Navigating in Uncertain Times," is based on the concept that housing is the foundation of America's success and provides stability in a sometimes unpredictable climate.
Planning partners worked closely with the Idaho Housing and Finance Association to create a forum for dialogue and collaboration on the state's affordable housing issues.
The conference will feature local and national speakers with expertise in areas of housing and finance, from mortgage banking leaders to affordable housing and community development advocates.

NOTE TO EDITORS: Reporters are invited and encouraged to attend any of the keynote addresses or workshops. Complimentary passes for all conference activities are available by contacting Reed Hollinshead at 208-331-4858.
