Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Housing Foundations Give $10,000 Funding Pledge to Home Buyer Education Program
BOISE - Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Housing Foundations recently contributed $10,000 to the Finally Home!® Home Buyer Education program, administered by IHFA. The contribution assists with educational contract expenses, textbooks and other class materials and program administration.
The Finally Home!® program has graduated more than 8,700 future Idaho home owners since its inception in 1999 and anticipates graduating a total of 2,500 in 2003.
"Wells Fargo is committed to promoting the economic advancement of everyone in our communities and to providing home ownership opportunities to low- and moderate-income families in Wells Fargo communities," said Jane Pavek, Vice President and Community Development Officer. "Achieving the American dream of owning your own home begins with information and knowledge."
"Wells Fargo is extremely pleased to contribute to Finally Home!® and the Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education (IPHBE). IPHBE provides valuable information to individuals to enable them to make wise decisions when purchasing a home," Pavek added.
The Home Buyer Education program is provided by the IPHBE, a nonprofit organization that has joined with local partners in Idaho to offer free Finally Home!® classes statewide. Class content covers everything from budgeting and good credit, to qualifying for a mortgage, choosing a real estate professional, to making an offer and closing.
