Home Buyer Education Program Receives $5,000 Contribution from Wells Fargo Foundation
(BOISE) The Wells Fargo Foundation recently contributed $5,000 to the Finally Home!® Home Buyer Education program administered by the Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education (IPHBE), to assist with educational contract expenses, textbooks and other class materials and program administration.
"Wells Fargo is committed to promoting the economic advancement of everyone in the communities we serve and to providing home ownership opportunities to low- and moderate-income families," said Jane Pavek, Wells FargoÕs vice president and community development officer. "Achieving the American dream of owning your own home begins with information and knowledge."
"Wells Fargo is extremely pleased to contribute to Finally Home!® and IPHBE, providing valuable information to individuals to enable them to make wise decisions when purchasing a home," Pavek added.
The Home Buyer Education program is provided by the IPHBE, a nonprofit organization that has joined with local partners in Idaho to offer Finally Home!® classes every month statewide. Class content covers everything from qualifying for a mortgage and choosing a real estate professional, to making an offer and closing.
Finally Home!® has graduated more than 9,500 future Idaho home owners since its inception and anticipates graduating a total of 2,400 in 2004.
