The Finally Home!® Home Buyer Education classes are now even more accessible to Spanish speakers interested in learning about purchasing their own home. The Idaho Partners for Home Buyer Education (IPHBE, Inc.) now provides these informative classes, which feature Finally Home!® instructors teaching these classes in Spanish, on a series of DVDs.

IPHBE, Inc. decided to produce DVDs featuring the class information when their training partner, Northwest Nazarene University, began having difficulty recruiting bilingual instructors for its monthly Spanish first-time homebuyer education classes. In addition, the organization hopes that providing DVDs will make the education more accessible to residents across the state, especially in areas where it was difficult to find sufficient real estate professionals who could teach classes in Spanish.

"This is another step in continuing our efforts to provide reasonable accommodation for any Idaho citizen wishing to take the Finally Home!® first-time homebuyer education course," said Sue Pisani, Finally Home!® Home Buyer Education Administrator.

The series of six Spanish DVDs was completed this winter and mailed to the organization's Regional Training Partners around the state, who already conduct classes in English monthly.

Anybody wishing to complete the homebuyer education course in Spanish in any area other than Nampa should contact the training partner in their geographic region, listed below, and schedule a mutually convenient time to review the DVDs at the training partner's specified location. As with the classroom and online education, a Certificate of Achievement will be awarded soon after completion of the Spanish DVD course. For Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, the DVDs will be used as a substitute if an instructor is unavailable, has an emergency, or for some other reason can't participate in a planned class. This will enable NNU to continue to hold their classes and avoid cancellation.
