Area REALTORS® to be recognized at IHFA luncheon Thursday
Real estate professionals to receive “Your Key to Housing Opportunities” awards
(NAMPA) The Idaho Housing and Finance Association will honor 27 Canyon County REALTORS® who have represented IHFA home loan buyers during an upcoming REALTOR® Appreciation Luncheon in Nampa. In total, these REALTORS® have represented 175 buyers who purchased their homes with IHFA home loans totaling more than $21 million collectively.
“REALTORS® play an important role in providing information about Idaho Housing and Finance Association’s IdaMortgage loan products,” said Susan Semba, IHFA’s director of Homeownership Lending. “I commend the recipients for their hard work and dedication to their field.”
The following REALTORS® will receive this year’s “Your Key to Housing Opportunities” Awards during a luncheon to be held at noon Thursday, May 3 at the Hampton Inn, 5750 E. Franklin Road in Nampa. Susan Semba, Director of Homeownership Lending and Gerald Hunter, IHFA’s President and Executive Director, will present the awards in a presentation slated to begin at 12:45 p.m.
Gold Award
- Veronica Sahagun, RE/MAX Advantage, Nampa
Veronica’s production numbers have placed her in the top ten REALTORS® at RE/MAX Advantage for the last four years, where she specializes in residential and new construction real estate. She strives to help first-time homebuyers find a home that suits their needs, but won’t be a financial burden to them. This has made her successful with IHFA, as she can often combine a below-market rate loan with down payment and closing cost assistance. Veronica, who is fluent in Spanish, also assists her homebuyers by providing translation services with lenders, title agencies and insurance agencies.
Silver Award
- Patti Syme, Brandt Agency, Nampa
Patti, who has been a REALTOR® for ten years, specializes in new construction and area subdivisions, but also sells large parcels of land and existing homes. She assists first-time homebuyers by making sure they work with a good lender who will find them the best loan at the lowest rate; and is trained to assist in the Finally Home!® Home Buyer Education program.
Bronze Award
- Michael Warr, Bilyeu Properties, Inc., Boise
Michael has been a top-producer each year during his five years at Bilyeu Properties. He works mainly in new construction and residential real estate, and enjoys assisting first-time homebuyers with IHFA’s programs.
Special Recognition
- Renee Baird and Will Loverde, CBH Homes, Meridian
The CBH Homes’ team is a top producer of IHFA home loan buyers. Renee and Will, who are representing CBH, have been with the company for over three years. Both are platinum level producers at CBH Homes.
