IHFA announces leadership change to its Board of Commissioners
Beebe named Chairman

John D. (Jack) Beebe, Jr., has been appointed Chairman of Idaho Housing and Finance Association's Board of Commissioners by Gov. Butch Otter.

Beebe is a partner at Beebe, McKernan and Daboll, a Commercial Real Estate firm in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and has served on IHFA's board since 1997. He previously served as Vice Chairman. His term expires in July 2010.

"Jack brings invaluable knowledge and expertise to IHFA with his strong real estate background," said Gerald Hunter, IHFA president and executive director. "He and the rest of the board play a vital role by contributing their business knowledge to help shape IHFA's future and address housing challenges facing the state."

Jack assumes the position formerly held by Darlene Bramon. She has served on IHFA's board since December 1996, and served as Chair from Aug. 16, 2004 to Sept. 14, 2007.

In other changes to IHFA's board, David Wilson of Sun Valley, Idaho was elected Vice Chair of the board. He has served on the board since 2004. Richard L. (Dick) Bauer of Garden City, Idaho was re-elected Secretary/Treasurer. He has served on IHFA's board since 2000.

IHFA is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners, which provides overall policy direction in governing business activities, as well as setting long-term goals for meeting Idaho's future housing needs.

The board's commitment of time and energy contributes to an improved quality of life for thousands of Idaho citizens. Their leadership has been critical to IHFA's past accomplishments and is vital to the Association's future success.
