Registration now open for 2009 Idaho Conference on Housing
Idaho’s only statewide housing conference to be held Oct. 19-20

(BOISE) Registration is now open for the 2009 Idaho Conference on Housing. This informative conference will provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss relevant and timely housing topics with industry experts, explore housing issues facing Idaho’s communities, and discuss the future of the housing industry in Idaho. The conference will be held October 19-20 at the Doubletree Hotel Boise-Riverside in Boise.

This conference will focus on the latest information on Idaho’s housing industry and feature knowledgeable keynote speakers and presenters, including:

  • Lawrence Yun, chief economist and senior vice president of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, who will discuss the economy and the housing industry;
  • Steve Donahue, a motivational speaker whose message on personal and organizational change will help attendees transform challenges into successes;
  • Renee Radcliff Sinclair, the Northwest Regional Director of Congressional and Public Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, who will discuss the Secret Language of Advocacy;
  • Kandy Weaver, president and owner of Kandy Weaver & Associates, who will discuss the Art of Leadership;
  • Dana Daniels, comedy magician, who will provide evening entertainment.

Attendees can register online today at www.2009housingconf.com. Early registration fees (for registrations received by Sept. 4) are $100 per person for non-profits and $150 per person for all others.

Workshops will allow attendees to discuss timely topics, including the housing crisis and the statewide condition of housing, housing fraud, dealing with crime and drugs in a community, building green, neighborhood stabilization, and the latest developments in rental housing. Attendees are encouraged to register today, as this conference is held only once every three years.
