Ward joins Home Partnership Foundation, Inc. as Development Director

The Home Partnership Foundation, Inc., brought to you by Idaho Housing and Finance Association (IHFA), welcomes Deanna Ward as Development Director. The Home Partnership Foundation is Idaho's only charitable housing foundation. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit is dedicated to helping families and individuals build a strong foundation for their lives through stable, safe, and affordable housing.

"Deanna's experience will be an asset to the Home Partnership Foundation as we work to strengthen Idaho communities and help families meet their housing needs," said Julie Williams, Senior Vice President.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Ward led philanthropic efforts worldwide for Hewlett-Packard Company as their Public Affairs Program Manager of Corporate Philanthropy. She has experience across the many disciplines of marketing communications, serving as advertising manager of high tech manufacturer Maxtor Corporation and as marketing program manager at Blackburn Designs/Bell Sports in Silicon Valley before joining HP.

Deanna also has a wealth of experience in community involvement, playing active roles in the Idaho Corporate Contribution Managers; Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship; Idaho Math, Science and Technology Coalition Board of Directors; Southern Idaho Science Collaborative/Discovery Center of Idaho Education Committee; the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry; and as Chair for the United Way of Treasure Valley Volunteer Center. Additionally, she led the nomination process for the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce's 2005 Inaugural Distinguished Corporate Stewardship, and the Jalisco/Idaho Sister State Task Force's 2006 U.S./Mexico Partnership for Prosperity Awards received by HP.

Ward holds a B.A. in Public Relations from California State University Chico. She also earned a Certificate in Corporate Community Involvement Management from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College.
