Tenant Complaint Procedures
Idaho Housing and Finance Association is committed to seeing that decent, safe, and sanitary housing is provided to all residents of Project Based Section 8 housing. As part of this commitment, we are available to receive complaints or concerns from residents, during regular office hours.
All residents of Section 8 housing have the right to contact their on site manager and property management company when complaints or concerns arise. These complaints or concerns should be handled according to the policy that is established at the property and in compliance with the Section 8 guidelines.
If you are not able to resolve these issues with the management company, or for some reason you can not contact them, Idaho Housing and Finance Association is available to assist you in insuring that all program rules and regulations are being upheld. Idaho Housing and Finance Association will listen to your concerns and will follow the process through to resolution. We will do so by working with you as well as with the property managers. We will encourage a dialogue between you and the property and assist where possible in order to come to a satisfactory conclusion.
