Idaho Assisted Housing Directory - Discontinued
Please note: As of October 9, 2007 IHFA no longer maintains the Assisted Housing Directory. The Directory was originally created in 2002 as a courtesy to those seeking affordable rental apartments, emergency and transitional housing. Although the Directory achieved widespread statewide use, there was no practical way to reflect real-time vacancies, changes in contact information and ownership, or to control the distribution and modification of the document by others. We have been seeking a more user-friendly alternative for some time. Thanks to those of you who provided helpful feedback on the directory over the years.
We are pleased to announce that the directory has been replaced by the web-based rental listing and locator tools at www.housingidaho.com. If you are a landlord, tenant, or case manager, you will find even more valuable resources and straightforward instructions at the free site. The site lists thousands of rental properties throughout the state and provides instant access to information on currently available units at all rent amounts and in every region. In addition, the site contains a collection of diverse resource links, including emergency and transitional housing providers, utility assistance and other items of interest to housing consumers, providers and advocates.
