Barriers to Housing Affordability in Idaho

The Barriers to Housing Affordability in Idaho study was one of several recommendations of the 1997 Governor's Affordable Housing Advisory Task Force. The study was commissioned by Idaho Housing and Finance Association  and the Idaho Department of Commerce to help identify regulatory barriers that may impact housing affordability for Idahoans.

In addition to an analysis of barriers to affordable housing, this report contains housing, economic and other statistics for the state, as well as a summary of comments from a variety of housing stakeholders and professionals obtained by the consultants during the study.
